guild promo issues

I tried to promote my alt to GM within my guild and it says that my character is not in the guild..I left the guild then got a reinvite and i am still not in the guild, although my character can speak in the guild etc.

Having same issue. Caused me to have to adjust Rank 2 permissions to mirrow Rank 1 because as Guild Leader I cannot promote my alt.
