You really think that was the problem? Most of them didn't even hit him. If they had, it would've been a far faster death before he even got through the outer doors.

Don't get me wrong, I think the post is stupid. Literally everyone knows and almost everyone hates this pet-pathing bug, but clearly the number of people was the least consequential factor.

Do I think that stopping to DoT four people outside only to get stunned by an Eldritch and eat four nukes, without Purging it, is why he died? Yes, I do.

Just run inside and that green pet won't do jack shit, but stopping and eating four nukes before running inside was just stupid.

tbh I was running from a minstrel in the water when I jumped, I couldn't go the otherway around the back of keep to the postern, I got forced over this way and was either die to the minst or run my ass up in the front door, both ways totally screwed never thought id make it close to making it inside the inner, so saw the ani standing there looking over at me so tried to dot him quick before I died, has nothing to do with anything, was just trying to make light of a problem that maybe they'd see how lame it can be and look harder into fixing it, and I figured most people would enjoy / get a laugh at seeing me get rolled, specialy like that

if your to the point of trying to validate pets totally going thro walls/buildings ect then you need to go get yo shine on or something, so you can stop hatin

cuz reading it is getting almost as boring as the threads I make

*edit* and maybe if more people brought these things up more often we wouldn't still be dealing with them

well we cant talk shit to each other like real(fun) forums, so wth else is it here for, aparantly im to new to phoenix and yall alrdy accepted strange things like this as ok/normal, the gm's or dev's w/e ive noticed are very good at taking player input and altering the game to see fit, so I brought it up to see what the response was, aka we working on it, we cant fix it, we don't care ect

not that long ago I saw some thing bout they thinking bout adding rr5 abilities, dunno why if they are putting so much time and work into the server still why they haven't got to things like this, I dunno why you would be adding in more content but not fixing major game flaws that ruin peoples experience

ive played daoc off and on for a long time, not much surprises left, not much things I haven't seen before that get me upset or frusterated and log off anymore, but this actualy made me say meh im good on playing daoc for the time being and logged off, I assume if I have a certain experience others might/probably do to, and so I posted it for people to see and perhaps a dev would see it and be like ok that's just dumb let me go work on trying to figure out how to fix this

if your kid grows up and does drugs and you know no matter what they gonna keep doing them, its still your job as a parent to let them know its not ok and they should stop, god forbid I care about the well being of the server and made a post to hopefuly better it and the experience of players^^

and I more laughed at myself for my misfortune and shared it with others then whined imo ! ;p

anyways whatever sry ! (altho I still don't see the point of complaining a bout someone making a post about a problem in game, perhaps yall don't got much going on irl I suppose)

had he not had the stun immunity(from outside) he would have died inside even had he purged inside the split second he was in the open there he would have died. Pathing is really stupid I send my pet on people on the top siege and kill them all the time its pretty stupid or send pets up to kill the siege itself or use the pet to pull all guards inside so when door is down all the guards are cleared already.

I think we can all agree that pets being able to go through doors is stupid but I'm pretty sure a while back the devs said there is nothing they can do about it.
