i wanted to say that i was really sceptic after the latest test of the event, but it turned out that is actually really fun! xping is usually really boring because you do the same all the time but here you have to deal with different setups all the time. its really fun to have a new minigame every few minutes.
also all the ppl are really kind and not mad at all if the setup sometimes sucks, but with most you can get to wave 6-7 thats really surprising

great job dear GMs!

It's a creative event, diff, fun.

Would be nice to be able to do it with just me and a few friends, as some of the PUGs we had 3-4 people all think their way was best and the group was split then wipes after wave 3-4, after you've just spent 10-15 minutes in the group finder. Had some good groups, but overall xp was not nearly as good as a solid bomb group chain pulling. Especially low levels... Said it's a lvl 1-49 event but anything below 30 gets wrecked (low cc timers) or not worth the xp at all.

Took me three and a half hours 1-24 on a thane (one hour 1-24 in a bomb group), the downtime was just boring. Wish there were more, lower level mobs with some higher levels at later rounds to make it more lowbie friendly. You need to spend all day there for it to be worth it, and the same thing on repeat with hit-or-miss group members (some afk, some don't know basic mechanics like mez/root stacking is bad, some just stubborn) can get super annoying after a couple bad runs.

Well even in higher levels its not quite worth the exp. When u r lucky u get a good group which kills quite fast but then there are some linkdeaths and the fun is over. Not worth waiting about 15min to start. A normal xp group is doing better exp and will bring u faster to 50 as the event.

As i have read the information about the event i thought it might be like Thidranki and masses of mobs attacking the keep and when the keeplord dies u have lost or sth.
But this is just waves spawning to kill with a bad group most of the time. You can have killing waves with a good group outside the event^^

legit the most boring, and biggest waste of time event imo thought the xp would be amazing yikes.

I have really enjoyed it so far and I like the change of pace. While some groups might not be the best, it is still fun to see how all the different classes work together. Thanks Devs for trying to make it fun!

I have enjoyed the event so far... even though the exp was lower than I expected.
But then again I find it nice to play in sub optimal teams and I find organised and super efficient bomb groups to be unstimulating.

I love the event and enjoy it a lot, but there really needs to be some kind of crack down against people who join and then leave...I had the same guy do it to me more than once tonight, over and over he's just leave after the 2nd wave.

I like the event but it's just not worth it at low levels. My warrior is 19 but he could of been 30+ by now in a regular leveling group.

Probably done with this event. Back to rvr

Verry nice event.

No optimal groups, no perfekt EP but....
Login, a few minutes later a group - sometimes absolut chaotic gameplay but mostly it works better than expected and the best...guaranteed cigarrette breaks, no need to be concentratet for hours.
If you wanna have a break, you get it, if you wanna play again, you can do it and nobody has to wait for you.

Pls implement such a feature in the future.

worst move they did was allow pre-made groups to this event.

Now, nobody is queuing until they secure themselves a cush spot in a kite group. That leaves sup-optimal classes waiting for ages.

Oh, that stinks--I see your point though about letting people form their own groups. I really resent how hard it can be to find people to group with my off-flavor characters I'd like to develop too. It's very odd how people are so willing to shun someone for daring to level an infiltrator, or a scout, or <<insert bad-class/spec here>>. It flies in the face of building community really, and it's toxic to longevity. Those that can't level or play the classes they want aren't going to stick around so long otherwise...you know? I hope the community realizes this and start to change grouping tendencies as a whole.

gotta say, cool event. Need more like that one.

Exactly.

If the event stayed as a lottery batch of 8 it would have been great for everyone instead of just for the classes that are already desirable for groups that didn't even NEED an event like this to get their pve leveling done quickly.

I found that by randomly inviting a few people to get 3 or 4 we’d almost instantly pop into the instance.

Only sucked when the melees were dieing in 3 hits from mobs because they were at the bottom of the lv range
Also without tinder damage adds melee had no damage and casters using DD on purple mobs had poor damage for how high the resist rate was on such bulky mobs

Still took several to 50 in the event though. One of them from lv1 took <3 hours of waves and 1 hour sitting in queue

Pros:
- Couldn't test it as much as I would have wanted but the few hours I spent in it were fun.
- I liked that mix of realms for PvE .
Cons:
- The premade ruined it.
- Some people tend to forget they are in a game and couldn't help but being aggro to one another.
- The group build algorithm should include that the tank(s) must be on the high end of the levels
- The group build could echo some info to help eg: /groupbuild -miss
=== currently missing:
healers [10-14] (3) [20-24](2)
dps [36-40](7)
buffers [10-14](1) [45-49](4)
...
That would (maybe) help people to know which character to bring in.

Overall, I hope to see that event coming back sometimes.

That’s such a load of hose poo. Pre made didn’t ruin it. Pre-made gave you something to complain about.

Premade takes n optional characters that could complete 1 to n groups.
Premade whom did invite others had not such impact else than compromising the random grouping.
Your recourse to graphic words are not helping nor your "x is false" if you say it's true, you're just a commie ... explain your view (you might be right instead of silly).

In summary, people want something to complain about, premades gave them that. The glass is half full crowd, has a blast.

Although you're right that most people will bicker over anything, I don't think trying to have a pro/cons list reflects that intention.
I liked the event - I will agree though that the word "ruin" is a tad bit strong and maybe I should have picked a better one.
