I capped exp at lvl 34 in Caledonia so I checked and it said i would only need 34 eggs to level up. So I went to Cotswold village and handed him the eggs, now I only have 18 out of over 1k eggs?

I think it’s some amount of eggs equal to level times some number for a bubble or %

You need to turn in eggs in stacks equal to your level!
So you likely missed what you get in return. Maybe 0.1%
Because I know 3400 eggs won’t get you a ding.
Next time get some eggs equal to your level times ten or one hundred and turn in. Note the bubble/bar increase.
You can break up the egg stack

The only thing bugged about eggs is that there is no use for them after fifty.....or that you still get them after fifty.

I would like to see where 50’s get eggs from solo mobs in frontiers/poc/df and they can turn in for something
Feathers? Snow/soil/branches? Gold? Repairs?
Even if it’s 100/1 turn in ANYTHING!

Here you go.......from the devs!

Being a hermit has perks.
While killing creatures solo you will receive phoenix eggs for every kill. Turning these into any class trainer will grant you experience. Each turn-in is roughly the same as killing a yellow creature. Each turn-in requires a number of phoenix eggs equivalent to your level; ie: at level 35, you must turn in phoenix eggs 35 at a time.

Gearing up solo feels easier as well - not sharing the ROG items with a full group means that each drop has a relatively high chance of being an upgrade. If you don't need to use the item, consider salvaging it for some crafting materials. 3
