Cannot stop running - Phoenix Freeshard

Many times my character just starts running and I cannot stop it. If I kill the client and log back in I am still running. If I restart my computer it works ok for a while but then I start running again. I switched out the keyboard and mouse but the problem persists. Any suggestions?

Check the keyboard option for run lock and push the key.

I have a tenkeyless keyboard and remapped the run lock to the scroll key. It was about the first thing I thought of and pressed it. No help.

I reinstalled the client again, installed tokjer's ui again and still having same problem. I am now trying running without tokjer's ui.

Have you checked your arrow keys? They are enabled for movement when you're in typing mode.

I was going to ask him

But thought it would be too cruel .

But yeah check key bindings too, maybe you replaced the auto run key with something common. Reset keys to default too, and see if it still happens.

Have you checked your arrow keys? They are enabled for movement when you're in typing mode.

The arrow keys work as expect and don't seem to cause any problems.

I reset the keys to default MMO. Now instead of running continuously after I am on a while, when I press the forward slash (i.e."/"

I run. Again after I am on a while. When I get rid of the forward slash key by backspacing or pressing enter, I stop running. In other words, chatting causes me to run. The forward slash key isn't assigned to anything in the key settings.

Try deleting the user.dat file in %appdata%\electronic arts\dark age of camelot\phoenix (or LOTM as last folder, depending on install) . And maybe changing keys to default again.

That did not work. It works for a while after reboot but then it starts up again. It doesn't take long.

Once in a great while I get the weirdest bug where my character keyboard turns and doesn't stop. When I hit the slash or enter to type it stops, but doesn't input a key like "D". I usually just reboot the game, or sometimes the whole computer. That usually works, but it doesn't seem so in your case.
